He enjoyed the technical work, but wanted more variety and a job that didn\u2019t keep him behind the wheel all the time. In 2001, he found that at BEGE.<\/p>\n<p>The combination of electrical engineering and mechanics appealed to him, and so did the culture of a company where people actually know each other.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\n<h2>A true all-rounder<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\"><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]In 25 years, Rob has held more positions than you can count on one hand. The workshop, production, bill of materials, purchasing, repairs, MIG encoders, he\u2019s done it all.<\/p>\n<p>Today he has a broad, service-oriented role: from building and vehicle maintenance to technical support for colleagues. \u201cI enjoy helping people. He recalls a situation where a customer in the fishing industry urgently needed a drive system, as the boat was about to leave. The team pulled together and got it done. \u201cBEGE\u2019s strength is in the speed with which we can build something. He watched teams grow, departments take shape, and the Str\u00f6ter acquisition unfold. Processes went digital, roles became more specialized. Yet one thing stayed consistent through all those years. \u201cWhat I\u2019ve always appreciated is that we\u2019re all on a first-name basis. He loves variety, solving problems, and the people around him. New colleagues, changing workflows: he finds it all interesting. Working together also means disagreeing sometimes, but keeping the conversation going is how you move forward. That\u2019s Rob\u2019s approach.
