Some companies put a logo on a banner and leave it at that. On March 29th, BEGE will be at the starting line itself, just like last year.
Lacing up for Roparun
A group of colleagues, partners and children will be taking part in Hollen door de Bollen, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. The running and walking event in the Dutch bulb region raises funds entirely for the Roparun Foundation, supporting palliative care projects for cancer patients.
And that means something to us. Some of us have seen firsthand what cancer does in their immediate surroundings. On a day like that, participation isn’t an obligation. It’s where you want to be.
An energy that stays with you
Last year’s atmosphere stayed with us: the energy along the route, the faces at the finish line, the sense that you’re contributing to something together. That follows you into Monday morning.
BEGE sponsors Hollen door de Bollen because we believe in initiatives that make a difference close to home. But the contribution we’re most proud of is showing up ourselves. With running shoes on and a bib number pinned to our chest.
