BEGE announces management change

As of January 2023, Gerard Paulides will stop his active role in the management of BEGE Power Transmission. He hands over the management of the 72-year-old family business to his son Coen Paulides. The drive specialist also announces two other board members.

New management team

From January 2023, BEGE Power Transmission BV will appoint Coen Paulides as the new general manager. He succeeds the current director Gerard Paulides. On the same date, the management team is expanded with Alex van den Berg (Commercial Director) and Marcel Biesma (Operational Director).

From 2023, these three gentlemen will continue to lead the company, based on the existing company values and the jointly developed strategy. In the future, they will focus on themes such as customer-specific product development and digital automation. Gerard Paulides will remain involved as an advisor within the organization.

Generation change

The generation change already started with the arrival of Coen Paulides as International Sales Manager in 2016. In recent years, his involvement in strategic decision-making, product engineering and personnel development has gradually increased.

Mr. Paulides’ broad technical knowledge, his understanding of the changing drive market and his desire for a positive corporate culture make him the suitable general manager of the 72-year-old family business.
