Dennis van Mourick
Production Planner & Scheduler at BEGE
Dennis van Mourick made a deliberate choice for BEGE. Among the many vacancies he received, the position of work planner immediately stood out. After a smooth job interview, followed by a tour of the company, he had a good feeling about the job right away.
A running start
What immediately struck Dennis about BEGE was the open and approachable work environment. There’s no strict hierarchy; instead, colleagues simply talk to and help one another.
That sense of involvement was evident right from the first week. During the structured onboarding process, Dennis shadowed various departments to get to know the company and meet his colleagues. “I’m being guided very well, and that gives me confidence.”
Switching between departments
As a work planner and scheduler, everything for Dennis revolves around one central question: can this order be delivered on time? That means checking whether the planned delivery date is feasible, whether the necessary inventory is available, and ensuring good coordination between departments.
“You have to be able to switch gears and take action to get the schedule right. When you succeed, it’s truly satisfying.”

New territory, good feeling
The role is completely new to Dennis, but it was precisely the variety and the challenging nature of the work that attracted him. And that has proven to be true in practice. He takes on new tasks with enthusiasm and is gaining a better understanding of how the processes work.
When he has a moment to spare, he asks colleagues where he can help. That attitude and openness is appreciated and fits perfectly with the way BEGE operates.
Career growth at BEGE
Dennis feels a strong sense of confidence in his own growth at BEGE. He is just starting his career as a work planner, but is steadily establishing his place within the team. Further developing his skills, functioning more and more independently in his role, and ultimately advancing within the company: that is what he is working toward.
With the guidance he has received so far, he is confident that he will succeed.
